Asbestos Rules for Air Quality Control

RULES FOR AIR QUALITY CONTROL: Chapter 391-3-1 [Revised June 1998 (Excerpted March 15, 1999)]

The following excerpt of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Rules provides the Environmental Protection Division authority for regulating asbestos emission standards and work practices in Georgia.

"Rule 391-3-1-.02(9)(b)7. Emission Standard for Asbestos (inc. work practices): 40 CFR, Part 61, subpart M, as amended, is hereby incorporated and adopted by reference."
