The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) Watershed Protection Branch received comments from stakeholders regarding the possible development of Water Use Efficiency Rules. Those comments received in response to the stakeholder meeting held on October 22, 2014, which was held in conjunction with the 3rd stakeholder meeting on the proposed Drought Management Rule, are posted below.
Public Meeting to Discuss Development of Possible New Water Use Efficiency Rules
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) Watershed Protection Branch held a stakeholder meeting on October 22, 2014 to discuss the possible future rule changes. The purpose of this meeting was to inform and solicit input from the public and impacted organizations regarding possible development of Water Use Efficiency Rules. Documents relating to the public meeting, including the public notice, are provided below. This meeting was held in conjunction with a third stakeholder meeting on the possible development of new Drought Management Rules. Comments on the proposed rules were requested to be sent to EPD by November 14, 2014.
