Coming Soon: EPD Online Permit Application System
The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) has announced it will soon introduce a new electronic permit application system for municipal wastewater permits and Title V air quality permits.
The Georgia EPD Online System (GEOS) will help streamline the permitting process. Benefits of using the new GEOS application tool include:
- Improving Program effectiveness and efficiency.
- Reduced workload for managing data.
- Reduction in printing and mailing costs.
- Immediate feedback from the community regarding compliance and permitting.
An initial round of training sessions will be scheduled at locations around the state for permit applicants. Eventually, permit applicants will access training materials through a portal on the EPD website at http://epd.georgia.gov/.
GEOS follows another EPD online tool available for permit holders to file discharge monitoring reports. It is called NetDMR and is available at http://epd.georgia.gov/netdmr/.
Please return to this webpage periodically for updated information on GEOS, NetDMR and training for both systems.
