Procedures for Off-Permit Change

Facility must notify both EPD and EPA of the change. A notification letter is all that needs to be submitted.  The notification must include the following:

  • A description of the change
  • Date of the change
  • Any change in emissions
  • The pollutant(s) emitted and
  • Any applicable requirements that apply as a result of the change.

NOTE: If new requirements result due to modification involving removal of equipment or reduction of emissions, an Off-Permit change cannot be done.
