Coal Ash Pond Dewatering Plans

  •  The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) approved the updated Coal Ash Pond Dewatering Plan from Georgia Power Company on May 21, 2018 for the discharge of treated wastewater from its coal combustion residuals pond(s) at Georgia Power Plant McDonough-Atkinson located in Cobb County.  A copy of the updated plan is available here.
  • The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) approved the updated Coal Ash Pond Dewatering Plan from Georgia Power Company on April 27, 2018 for the discharge of treated wastewater from its coal combustion residuals pond(s) at Georgia Power Plant McManus located in Glynn County.  A copy of the updated plan is available here.
  •  The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) approved the Coal Ash Pond Dewatering Plan from Georgia Power Company on December 13, 2017 for the discharge of treated wastewater from its coal combustion residuals pond(s) at Georgia Power Plant Bowen located in Bartow County.  A copy of the plan is available here.
  • The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) approved the Coal Ash Pond Dewatering Plan from Georgia Power Company on September 15, 2017 for the discharge of treated wastewater from its coal combustion residuals pond(s) at Georgia Power Plant Branch located in Putnam County.  A copy of the plan is available here.
