When is the NOI due/when does the renewal window close?A renewal NOI is due within 90 days of the issuance of the New NPDES General Permit for Construction Storm Water, which was issued on August 1, 2018. The renewal window will close at 12:01 am on October 31, 2018. A new NOI is due 14 days prior to the commencement of the construction activity.
-
How much does a renewal NOI cost? There is no fee associated with renewing your NOI, as long as it is done in the permissible 90 day renewal window and all fees were paid with your previous submittal.
-
How long until my renewal NOI is approved?Once you have submitted your renewal you are done, as long as you don’t have outstanding fees from your previous submittal. If you do, the renewal will not be processed until the fees have been paid and reconciled in the system. If there are no outstanding fees, it may take up to one day for the system to process your approval.
-
How will I know that my NOI was submitted correctly? You will receive a confirmation email that your submittal is complete.
-
Why did I receive an email about the Construction General Permit? If the email was from Gov Delivery, the answer is your information appears to be associated with previous Stormwater Construction activities, EPD is reminding you that you may soon need to take action concerning Stormwater Construction. To determine if you need to take action, please contact the EPD District office for your area. Generally speaking this is because EPD records indicate that you have an active construction project and are currently covered by the 2013 NPDES Construction Stormwater Permit. If your project is complete and meets stabilization and permit requirements for termination of coverage, you should submit a Notice of Termination (NOT) online or to the District office that your project is located in, listed below. NOT’s filed before the expiration of the 2013 Permit (July 31, 2018) will not have to renew their coverage. If your project is not complete, please follow the directions in the email. If the email was from Gov Online, the answer is this is an email automatically sent by the GEOS System to verify account creation/NOI submittal/ETC.
-
I want to Terminate/NOT my site, but the Permit has expired. In order to Terminate/NOT your site, you will need to first renew your NOI electronically and then you can file an NOT electronically.
