Project Notifications

A project notification must be submitted to Georgia EPD through the Georgia EPD Online System (GEOS) 10 business days prior to any demolition, renovation, or asbestos abatement activity. Georgia EPD only accepts project notifications and completion notifications submitted through GEOS.

Asbestos Abatement Contractors

If you are a contractor who performs abatement of friable asbestos-containing material (ACM), you are required to be a Georgia-licensed asbestos abatement contractor AND submit a project notification form for each project.

To apply to become a Georgia-accredited asbestos training provider, you are required to submit the following application.
