If you or your firm advertise to, agree to, or perform work or services on residential properties or child-occupied facilities built before 1978, then you and your firm are required to be a Georgia-Certified Renovation Firm and aGeorgia-Certified Renovator.

Lead-Based Paint Abatement
If you are a contractor who performs lead-based paint inspections, risk assessments, or abatement of lead-based paint, then you and your firm are required to be a Georgia-Certified Lead Services Firm and aGeorgia-Certified Worker, Supervisor, Inspector, Risk Assessor, or Project Designer and submit a Notice to Proceed for each project.

Lead-Based Paint Training Providers
If you want to provide training for RRP or lead-based paint activities in Georgia, your firm is required to be a Georgia-Accredited Training Provider. Applications for Renovation or Lead-Based Paint Discipline Training Providers, as well as Pre- and Post-Training Notifications are available through GEOS.
