Please note that starting December 1, 2024 EPD Drinking Water Program will be accepting plans and specifications for all drinking water related  projects electronically only. No paper submission will be accepted after December 1, 2024. Please click here (https://epd.georgia.gov/e-plan-review) to submit your plans electronically.

On November 13, 2024, EPD announced a stakeholder meeting to discuss proposed changes to the rules and the Minimum Standards for Public Water Systems relating to drinking water wells located within 100 feet of a surface water.  A copy of the November 13 notice is Download this pdf file. available here .  A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, and EPD is accepting comments through Friday, December 27, 2024.
