On September 28, 2023, EPD announced a stakeholder meeting to discuss a proposed rule change recognizing a new drinking water operator Class IIIG was created by Georgia Board of Examiners for Certification of Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts. A public meeting will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, and EPD is accepting comments through Thursday, November 9, 2023.
